AISociety™  -  Appraisers International Society™ - AIS™

• The Appraisers International Society [hereinafter "AISociety"] is the professional membership organization of Elly Rosen's AIS. By applying for membership in the AISociety, or submitting payment for application and/or registration to the AISociety, applicants [hereafter "Member(s)"] agree to the basic Terms of Service [hereinafter "ToS"] below which are typical of professional membership organizations and related online netiquette, as well as to any other future rules or changes to the ToS agreement, which AIS may promulgate from time to time, including changes to applicable fees. Any additions or changes to the ToS will be posted on the designated AISNetWork channel or forum and forwarded to the Members email address on file with AIS. It's the responsibility of the Member to keep AIS informed of changes to their email address.

• Members understand and agree that the organization may, with reasonable notice, terminate any Members status as a Member along with all rights of membership, at the sole discretion of the organization. Members agree that AIS may censure Members, or suspend and/or revoke Membership at any time and Members agree to abide by any such AIS decision. Members understand and agree that all AISociety materials and paraphernalia provided to Members by AIS or the AISociety remain the property of AIS, have been provided for use by the Member only in accordance with current or future rules promulgated by AIS, and then only while in good standing, and must be returned to AIS upon termination of membership or other request by AIS. Members understand and agree that all organization names, marks and materials containing such names or marks, are the property of the organization, are provided to members subject to the organization's rules of usage, and should the Members tenure as a Member of the organization cease, the Members must desist from use of such materials and return all materials to AIS on demand in a timely manner.

• Members agree to respect all intellectual property rights of Elly Rosen, AIS, and other Members, including but not limited to, copyrights, trademarks, trade dress, patents, regardless of whether any such intellectual property is or is not posted with a "protected" notice.

• Members agree to subscribe to and adhere to the AIS organization Code of Ethics & Professional Conduct and Standards of Practice as may be posted from time to time, on AIS channels and sent via email, and to fulfill the Code of Ethics exam requirement and all other requirements of organization membership and certification, within the time limits and by the methods prescribed by the organization.

IMPORTANT AISociety & AiCertification Terms & Conditions

1.  Initial Application & Enrollment Fees [which are non-refundable]:

a.  AISociety Organization Application & Registration fee is US$99

b. AiCertification Registration fee is $99.

b.  Annual Membership Dues or Enrolled AiCandidate Affiliation Fees are US$99/year.

AiCertification Alumni Members who do not upgrade to Dues Free Lifetime Membership but rather remain Annual Subscription Members may be offered an  package rate of US$180/year to cover both of the above $99 fees.

2.  After Course Completion Fees

     a.  AiCertification Program & AiV-Registry Registration ($99).

Fee due after AiCertification's 1st program completion for titled membership eligibility - Due after successsful completion of the program and before granting of the realted title and appellation.

     b.  Annual AiReCertification Update & AiV-Registry Maintenance fee is generally  US$99/year but may vary depending on the amount of substantivtive AIStandard's material requiring Alumni updates of a particular year. 

[AiCertification Alumni are required to subscribe to and participate in annual AiReCertification update sessions and any designated exam/exercises generally have an annual US$99 due in Jan. of each year after the calendar year of graduation.  Such fees may ocassionally be higher, e.g., 2016 had an annual AiReCertification Updates fee of $160 rather than the usual annual $99 Update fee.  That was because the 2016 Update includes an all new Appraisal Reporter™ Clinic module added to existing Reporting materials of the AiCore Program during presentations of AiCore's 2016 AIStandard v5]

PLEASE NOTE:

AIS reserves the right to decline acceptance of any enrollment at the sole discretion of AIS.

In that event, any registration payment will be refunded, less any stated application fee (this does not apply here as application fees have been waived for enrollments at this time).

REFUND POLICY: 

AIS Affiliation & Organization Program Fees: Membership, AISociety Affiliation, AiCertification, AiV-Registry & AiReCertification Application and Registration fees, as well as Individual & Firm Membership are not refundable, unless AIS, at its sole discretion rejects applications and/or registrations, in which case any portion of such fees which were posted as being refundable upon AIS rejection will be refunded.

AiCertification Education Courses & Program Application & Registration Fees: Application & Registration fees are non-refundable, unless AIS, at it's sole discretion, rejects applications and/or registrations, in which case any portion of such fees which were posted as being refundable upon AIS rejection will be refunded. No refunds for discounted,  promotional, 2-for-1 or BOGO offers.

AiCertification Education Courses & Program Tuitions: Portions of AiCertification fees which are posted as being course "tuition" are fully refundable up to 60-days prior to originally scheduled starting date. Cancellations and refunds requested: up to 30-days prior to originally scheduled start date may receive up to 90% refund of "tuitions"; up to 10-days prior to originally scheduled start date may receive up to 50% refund of "tuitions". No refunds are possible after 10-days prior to the originally scheduled start date or after Enrollees have received any proprietary AIS intellectual property or AiCertification program or course materials.

AISociety & AiCertification Seminars & Webinars: Application & Registration Fees are not refundable, unless AIS, at its sole discretion rejects related applications and/or registrations, in which case any portion of such fees which were posted as being refundable upon AISociety rejection will be refunded. Attendance, or Participation "Fees" or "Tuitions" for Webinars or Seminars are fully refundable if the attendee notifies AIS of a cancellation and requests a refund prior to 24-hours before the scheduled event time.
