  I was privileged to be a part of the first AiSociety global program. It was indeed a rewarding experience under the tutelage of Elly Rosen, a pioneer in the field of personal property appraising.
  After 30+ years in the appraising profession I can say unequivocally that the AiS courses truly are the most advanced and most accessible ever offered. I heartily recommend them to both the advanced
  appraiser and to those looking to break into the profession.

  I took the first development offering of Elly’s course, and yes it opened my eyes to all of the issues involved in appraising. Before taking Elly’s course I had been writing appraisals on gems and
  jewelry for 3 decades. I simply learned how to do a better job for my clients.
  For anyone considering enrolling in the program there is something else to consider. Taking Elly’s courses was one of the best investments that I have ever made. In the first year following the

  I heartily recommend affiliation with Appraisers International Society, and taking these outstanding appraisal courses. The unique format of AiS courses will advance anyone--beginner to seasoned
  pro--in a way no other personal property appraisal courses can, or have ever even attempted. After three decades of appraising, I found my own 3rd year development offering to be unexpectedly
  enriching, personally and professionally . The course material was always interesting to me, and it was the rare class where I didn't come away with valuable insight. The availability of the online
  presentations, accessed in either real time (with scheduling that accommodates international time zones) or afterwards in recording, was a real plus for me, as I was able to fit the course into MY
  schedule, even when traveling. However, I found I really didn't want to miss any real time presentations, as the follow-up questions and discussions were one of the strongest aspects of the courses.
  The in-depth conversations with Elly and fellow professionals from around the globe--discussing, debating, analyzing and sharing our own experiences, insights and appraisal issues with respect and

  I fully recommend affiliation with Appraisers International Society, being involved with the verty informative appraisal science courses. There are many unique formats used by the AISociety in
  particular the unique discussion groups available and taken from New Zealand through to USA and into Europe and our including New Zealands west island Australia. It is a compelling experience to
  speak with and get to know others who have integrity and a self belief to want to be involved and learn from each other to gain the most professional multi disciplined Valuation Science program on
  offer anywhere. It is very humbling to be involved and to be able to contribute to an expanding profession and to find that your views are all important in a collaborative way - A pleasure to be able
  to recommend all of the courses on offer.

  had perplexed me with Valuing finished goods and then so many more questions that I hadn’t considered! Elly’s in depth instruction quickly became invaluable to me as I realised the depth of
  understanding and knowledge required to effectively offer the services of a qualified Valuer and as a true professional within the field of Valuing Personal Property.

  After completing my studies as a Graduate Gemologist from GIA, I knew that in order to peruse a credible career as a gems and jewelry appraiser, I needed to seek an education in valuation and

  Needless to say this is the path I took and continue to pursue. I am working full time as a self employed gems and jewelry appraiser traveling all over the U.S. and not a day goes by that I truly
  find my education and advanced knowledge relevant and significant to each assignment. If anyone is serious about their education and profession, I highly recommend the Appraisers International
  Society.

  I enrolled in AiCore after seeing what was offered by other appraisal societies. Unlike many of my fellow GIA Graduate Gemologists I do not feel that my GG equips me to appraise! If you are looking
  for an in-depth professional appraisal education AiS is the one you need!

  As one who thought that being a Gem(m)ologist entitled me to Appraise/Value Jewellery - even tho over the years I had joined several Appraisal Bodies to learn more about the Appraising Profession.
  Not until I started the AiS Course did it really become clear, that I had SO much more to learn. The interactive course, with Elly Rosen as the head tutor, and being able to discuss by Video Link,
  with the other students from NZ, USA, Canada & Australia (later Europe) was an amazing experience. The Hours of tuition, was so far ahead of any 1 or 2 day courses I had previously taken, the
  course material, subjects and way they were covered were so far ahead of any of it. If you are sincerely interested in becoming a Personal Property Appraiser/Valuer, then you must, look at what the
  AiS 2015 course has to offer. Best of All, it is the best value for money and available now. You can spend more on a simple 2 day course, that covers what ?? This one is Multi National, Multi
  Jurisdictional, and Multi disciplined, I can't recommend it more.

  The old saying..."You don't know what you don't know" is very applicable with our appraising profession. I, like so many others, had been doing appraisals for some 40 years and felt I was on top of
  my game....GIA courses...retail experience...and a lot of manufacturing experience. What was missing was an education in what is most important when doing appraisal work...an education in valuation
  principles...a proper education in the basics of appraising using a proper methodology, recognized standards and a set of ethics that are stated. AiS gave me all that and more. I am aware of landmark
  cases that have affected our profession. We were taught how to properly research the various relevent market information and the laws within our or any jurisdiction. Our organization is worldwide so
  we have colleagues spread around the globe to assist if needed.
  We are now multi speciality so that the true principles of valuation are being taught in other areas other than just gems and jewelry.
  If you wish to be the very best you can be in our field of appraising and valuation AIS is the only coursework available that has the history(entering the 4th decade) and a founder and who is perhaps
  the most knowledgeable professional in our field
